“As a teenager, I was lucky to babysit a young boy with Down Syndrome and felt I had a special place in my heart for children with special needs. After graduating from College of Charleston in 2009, I began working in a group home and fell in love with ABA therapy, and all it had to offer kids with Autism. I worked in home settings as both a lead therapist and consultant, working towards my BC/ABA certification. After moving to Florida in 2015, I worked in clinical settings doing one on one behavior therapy. Most recently I was a paraprofessional with the Els Center for Excellence, founded by professional golfer Ernie Els. I am excited to be back home in South Carolina and working with the staff of Carolina Behavior &Beyond to see firsthand how early intervention makes an impact on young children!”
